Fears and phobias are our brains way of gettng us out of danger fast. This was a perfect response back in times when danger surrounded us, but in modern times how often are we truly faced with danger. 
When our fears take over and stop us from getting on with the things we want to it is time to take action, this is when hypnotherapy can help.
