Clients often ask me, "what are you going to do to make me lose weight?" A more suitable question may be, "what are WE going to do to help me lose weight?" 
Diets - we've all tried them with varying success, but what are the other options? 
The difficulty with weight management may come from a lack of motivation, we may self sabotage, we may do well and lose weight for a while and then when life gets on top of us we turn to food. What ever the reason for our lack of success is, there are ways of dealing with it. 


I'm not a big fan of fad diets and neither is your body. It sounds counter productive but if we don't take in enough calories the body goes in to 'starvation mode' and stores its energy as fat. If we don't eat enough, we can in fact put on weight. We will have a look at how your brain works in relation to weight loss, how we can put you back in control of your mind so that you can make and continue to make positive steps towards achieving your weight loss goals. We will also get the correct chemicals created in your mind - with the correct ones being produced we no longer have to get our feel good factor from food. 
Instead of dieting, we will be looking at changing the way you think about food and helping you to come up with a sustainable way of eating more healthily. Eating well should be an enjoyable lifestyle choice.
